About the role

You’ll be responsible for building the payments infrastructure that processes large ACH transactions, essential for the marketplace's operations. This role involves working predominantly on backend systems with Python, while also engaging with frontend technologies like React and React Native.

You’ll collaborate within a small payments pod of three engineers, focusing on processing high-value transactions and developing new financial products.

What You’ll Do

• Process large-value transactions through integrations with Stripe and banking partners
• Build and maintain a custom double-entry ledger system
• Develop new ledgers for future lending and financial products
• Work primarily on backend systems with Python, and frontend with React/React Native
• Collaborate in a small, agile engineering team

The Ideal Candidate

• 3-5+ years of experience in fullstack engineering roles
• Proficient in Python, Postgres, AWS, React, TypeScript, and Stripe
• Experience with processing large-value transactions and ledger systems
• Comfortable working in a small, agile team environment
• Based in the United States and able to work remotely
