What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll work across a mix of interesting internal or client projects, which means no two days will be the same.
Some examples of what you might do:
- 🚀 Build greenfield Django apps for startups
- 🏢 Develop mission-critical Python systems for large enterprises
- 🤝 Embed with client teams to improve their engineering practices
- 🧠 Coach teams on Software Craftsmanship & Extreme Programming
You’ll collaborate closely with product and design teams to deliver features end-to-end — from APIs to UIs.
Your Tech Toolbox
Backend-biased expectations:
- 🐍 Python & Django (other Python frameworks considered)
- 🗃️ Strong SQL & data modelling skills
- ☁️ AWS (SNS, SQS, EKS, S3)
- 🐳 Kubernetes + Terraform + CI/CD (CodeFresh, GitHub Actions)
- 💡 Kotlin experience? That’s a plus!
Nice to have:
- ⚛️ React + component libraries & design systems
- 🔎 OpenSearch / ElasticSearch
- 💨 SSR + performance optimisation
- ♿ Accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA)
- 🔍 SEO knowledge (bonus!)
