Software Engineer in Test

ob Description

o Software Engineer in test will be embedded in a cross functional agile team developing APIs for integration with current and future applications.

o Participate in requirement refinement.

o Develop testing strategy / framework.

o Partner with development team to have test automation be an integrated part of development activities and release pipelines.

o Identify defects early in the development process as part of a shift left testing approach.

o Analyze requirements and development process to find ways to innovate the testing approach to complete in sprint test automation with minimal requirement for manual testing.

o Work to build test harnesses to allow development team to increase velocity by removing the need for test data at the development stage

o Be able to document QA testing process regarding number test cases written, tests executed, and defects found.

o Be able to map all test cases back to requirements documentation.

o Analyze testing performance sprint to sprint and adjust testing approach as needed.

o Have a keen eye for detail and the ability to recognize patterns.

• Required Skills

o Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills

o 10 years’ experience with Test Automation, Api testing

§ must have experience using Cypress

§ Postman

§ must have experience in Karate Frameworks

§ Q-test

o Experience in API testing

o Experience Contract testing / test harness creation

o Strong Problem-Solving Skills

o Strong SQL

o Healthcare Experience a plus
