Senior Software Developer

CMC are looking for two experienced Senior Software Engineers to join our client on a 6-month contract. You will be working on developing a client portal and API that enables clients to efficiently manage their domain names, DNS, and TLS certificates. Given the nature of the work, we require engineers with strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a client portal and API for managing domain names, DNS, and TLS certificates.
• Work with React for the frontend and C# for the backend, following an existing codebase.
• Ensure high-quality API documentation and backend documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Follow best practices in CI/CD, cloud deployment, and containerization (Docker).
• Engage in a structured development process, using git and working with stacked diffs/change sets.
• Maintain a high level of security and IP protection within the project.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer delivering web applications and APIs.
• Strong backend development experience with C#.
• Solid frontend development experience with React (or similar frameworks like Vue, Svelte, Solid, etc.).
• Proficiency with SQL, Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS, etc.).
• Strong ability to capture requirements from stakeholders, document APIs, and communicate effectively.
• Experience working with stacked diffs/change sets (desirable)
