JOB SUMMARY
As the Director of Marketing, this position will lead and shape CNECT’s marketing function to drive member growth, engagement, and brand recognition. This role is critical in accelerating the organization’s brand presence and impact through strategic campaigns, partnerships, and innovative marketing initiatives. This position will lead demand generation and oversee member and partner engagement and creative services, ensuring alignment with CNECT’s growth objectives and the broader goals of the Family of Companies.
This Director of Marketing is a dynamic leader, skilled in developing integrated marketing strategies that deliver measurable results and experienced in managing high-performing teams. This position is expected to be equally comfortable with big-picture thinking and tactical execution, balancing creativity with data-driven decision-making.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Strategic Leadership
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive member acquisition, engagement, and retention.
• Evolve and strengthen CNECT’s brand, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
• Align marketing initiatives with organizational goals, collaborating closely with Sales, Member Services, and the Family of Companies.
• Identify and build strategic partnerships that enhance brand visibility and member value.
• Nurture key supplier pipelines to generate new member leads and enhance supplier relationships.
Demand Generation
• Develop and execute multi-channel demand generation strategies that drive high-quality leads and revenue growth.
• Align with sales leadership on lead qualification criteria, scoring models, and ideal customer profiles (ICPs) to generate leads.
• Establish lead nurturing programs that effectively convert MQLs into SQLs and accelerate sales opportunities.
• Define KPIs and leverage data-driven insights to refine campaigns, track MQL growth, measure SQL conversion rates, and optimize marketing’s impact on pipeline contribution.
• Ensure seamless lead handoff by partnering with the VP of Sales and optimizing pipeline visibility.
• Track and Report KPIs for demand generation, including MQL growth, SQL conversion rates, and marketing-influenced pipeline contribution.
• Leverage data-driven insights to continuously refine campaigns and improve marketing effectiveness.
• Oversee and optimize paid media campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads) to increase inbound lead generation.
Member Engagement
• Oversee member engagement strategies and initiatives to ensure enhanced retention and increased purchasing behavior.
• Ensure personalized engagement initiatives are focused on value-driven communication strategies to provide a seamless member experience from onboarding through long-term retention.
• Ensure data and analytics are used to segment audiences and personalize outreach, increasing member lifetime value.
• Develop and oversee member user group forums.
Creative Services & Content Development
• Oversee creative services to ensure high-quality, brand-consistent content that drives campaigns, member education, and thought leadership.
• Ensure all creative output aligns with brand standards and quality expectations.
Team Leadership & Development
• Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team with clear objectives and performance metrics.
• Provide coaching and feedback to support professional growth and foster a collaborative, results-driven culture.
Budget Management & Reporting
• Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation to maximize ROI.
• Track and report on marketing performance, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Provide regular updates to executive leadership on marketing impact.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Skills
• Proven success in demand generation, member engagement, and brand growth.
• Strong leadership skills with experience building and managing high-performing teams.
• Proficient in marketing automation (HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud), CRM systems, and analytics tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Skilled in budget management and resource allocation.
• Solutions-oriented, with a strategic mindset and hands-on execution skills.
Education/Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years in marketing leadership, ideally in healthcare, B2B, or GPO settings.
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement or Pardot experience preferred.
Geographical Location, Standard Business Hours, and Travel Requirements
• Located in the continental US no more than a 60-minute radius to a major U.S. airport.
• Business hours are generally 8:00-5:00 PST.
• A minimum of 5% travel is required for staff development purposes.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
HIPAA/COMPLIANCE
• Maintain privacy of all patients, employee and volunteer information and access such information only on as need to know basis for business purposes.
• Comply with all regulations regarding corporate integrity and security obligations. Report Unethical, fraudulent, or unlawful behavior or activity.
• Upon hire and annually attend HCP’s HIPAA training and sign HCP’s Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure Agreement and HIPAA Privacy Acknowledgment
• Upon hire and annually read and acknowledge understanding of HCP’s HIPAA Security Policies and Procedures
• Adhere to HCP’s HIPAA Security Policies and Procedures and report all security incidents to HCP’s Privacy & Security Officer
*The pay range for California residents for this position is $129,000 - $165,000, however, the actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. To best ensure pay equity, we typically do not bring in new hires above the middle of our listed salary bands.
