Freelance UX Designer

Are you an experienced and highly skilled user experience (UX) designer looking for freelance work? We're growing our pool of talented UX designers at CMD!

The best candidates will have a strong background in user experience design, information architecture, and interaction design. They will have led UX efforts across various projects to deliver intuitive, engaging, and impactful digital experiences that meet customer needs and client budget and timeline requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead user experience and business analysis efforts across program activities.
• Analyze and define requirements, create information architectures, and design interface structures and interactions.
• Develop overall user experience vision on projects and recommend strategically sound solutions.
• Collaborate with integrated teams on project discovery, defining and documenting users, requirements, and success metrics.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and detailed design specifications.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a UX designer or similar role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in user research, persona development, customer journey mapping, UX design, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Proficiency in UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment under tight deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
