Role: Data Analyst - Pharma

Location: Remote (EST preferred, MUST be authorized to work in the U.S. on w2)

Rate: $45-55/hr DOE

Clutch has a client looking for a Data Analyst with pharmaceutical advertising or marketing agency experience.

Responsibilities:

• Take raw outputs and models from the data scientist team, performing data preparation and cleaning to ensure structure and usability.
• Convert technical outputs into usable findings by interpreting tables and key metrics into an initial findings brief, proactively flagging anomalies, discrepancies, or areas requiring further investigation.
• Produce visuals and tables for strategist consumption, building standard reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support the synthesis and communication of insights.
• Perform quality assurance on data deliverables, ensuring accuracy and reliability, while maintaining reproducible notebooks or templates for consistency across projects.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously, effectively triaging urgent requests and managing priorities to meet tight deadlines.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Data Analyst, with experience in a pharmaceutical agency setting.
• Experience with healthcare claims data or real-world evidence data is strongly preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) and basic SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new platforms and data sources, with a preference for experience using tools like PurpleLab or similar data platforms.
• Bachelors degree required.
• Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and highly organized, with excellent skills in documentation of methods, data sources, and qa processes.
