Role Overview
We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Manager (Outbound & Automation Lead) to spearhead our growth initiatives and fuel Cloutburst’s expansion. In this role, you will design and execute full-funnel marketing strategies that directly impact our customer acquisition and revenue. You’ll be the go-to expert for blending outbound and inbound marketing tactics, leveraging automation tools, and experimenting across channels. Your work will be critical in scaling Cloutburst’s presence in key verticals like real estate, e-commerce, and SMBs, and in shaping our approach to reaching and converting new customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Full-Funnel Strategy: Design and execute a comprehensive growth marketing strategy covering the entire funnel – from awareness to conversion – targeting key verticals such as real estate, e-commerce, and SMBs.
• Outbound & Inbound Balance: Balance outbound and inbound efforts across the marketing mix to ensure a steady pipeline of leads. This includes orchestrating outbound campaigns while also supporting inbound demand through content and ads.
• Multichannel Outbound Campaigns: Manage and optimize multi-channel outbound campaigns. Develop and refine email outreach sequences, call scripts, and LinkedIn outreach cadences to engage and convert cold prospects effectively.
• Marketing Automation: Select, implement, and manage automation tools to streamline our marketing efforts (e.g., email marketing platforms, CRM workflows, lead scoring systems, and integrations). Ensure our tech stack is optimized for scale and efficiency.
• Inbound Marketing Oversight: Oversee lightweight inbound marketing activities. Manage a content specialist to produce valuable content, launch modest paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn Ads), and continuously optimize landing pages for lead capture and conversion.
• Sales Collaboration & Closing: Collaborate closely with our Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and sales team. Participate in nurturing high-potential prospects, join sales calls or demos, and assist the founder in closing deals with key clients.
• KPIs & Reporting: Track key performance metrics like lead conversion rates, cost per lead, and funnel drop-off points. Analyze campaign performance and provide concise, actionable reports to the team, highlighting what’s working and where to iterate.
• Continuous Experimentation: Run A/B tests and growth experiments across channels on an ongoing basis. Continuously test subject lines, messaging, targeting, and channel strategies to improve outreach effectiveness and ROI.
Qualifications
• Marketing Experience: 3+ years of experience in marketing, growth, or demand generation roles (startup or SaaS experience a plus). Proven track record of driving lead generation and pipeline growth.
• Outbound & Automation Skills: Hands-on experience with outbound marketing campaigns and marketing automation tools (email automation, CRM systems, lead scoring). Comfortable setting up sequences and workflows from scratch.
• Multichannel Know-How: Familiarity with running campaigns across multiple channels – email, social media (LinkedIn), and paid advertising. Ability to craft compelling copy for outreach and adapt messaging to different audiences.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and KPIs. Experience using analytics tools or dashboards to track marketing performance and inform decisions.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Experience working closely with sales teams (SDRs/AEs) or in cross-functional teams to align marketing with sales goals.
• Adaptability: Self-starter attitude with a bias for action and experimentation. Thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment and can adapt quickly to changing strategies or priorities.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).

• Competitive Compensation: A salary of around $72K per year (about $6,000 per month), plus performance-based bonuses tied to lead generation and revenue targets that can equal your base salary (another $72k per year).
