We are seeking passionate and talented Software Engineers to join our Public Cloud Software Engineering / R&D Core team. In this role, you will contribute to building and enhancing the software and systems that power our product’s hybrid and multi-cloud data management platform. You will help design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance services that enable seamless deployment and operation across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:
- Design and implement backend components for the public cloud infrastructure that powers our multi-cloud and hybrid data management platform.
- Develop reliable and secure microservices using Java (and occasional Go) to manage cluster provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Build integrations with cloud APIs and contribute to core systems, enabling scalability, observability, and operational excellence.
- Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and troubleshooting of complex distributed services.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks to ensure efficient build, test, and release workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Apache Hadoop, Spark, or other big data technologies
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or container orchestration
- Background in cloud-native application development
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
- Contributions to open-source projects
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools
We’re excited about you if you have(Minimum Qualifications):
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of software development experience, ideally building distributed or cloud-based systems.
- Strong programming skills in Java; experience with Go is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of Linux environments, networking, virtual machines and container technologies (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD solutions like Jenkins, Github Actions.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including production operations, monitoring, alerting, and participating in an on-call rotation for the services you build.
- Experience working with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their APIs.
- Understanding of container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure automation concepts.
- A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving with attention to detail and quality.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across distributed teams.
