About Us
Close is building the modern CRM for small, scaling businesses - just like us.
Today, we’re 100+ people across 22 countries. We’re united in our goal to help small businesses sell better by eliminating manual work and empowering them to focus on what matters most: relationships.
Close sets our compass by our customers and our people. Sustainability is core to serving both; we care deeply about the health of our business and the wellbeing of our team. We’re bootstrapped - meaning we’ve accepted no outside funding - and fully remote since 2016. The way we’ve chosen to build our business allows us to chart our own course.
Our team prioritizes impact, ownership, and quality. As a growing, remote-first company, we favor asynchronicity over meetings and we relentlessly prioritize work that moves the needle. We practice a mature approach to the workplace -- we expect our team to manage time effectively, communicate thoughtfully with teammates and customers, and produce great work.
About The Role
We’re looking for a Sr. Product Marketing Manager to join our small (but mighty) Product Marketing and Lifecycle Marketing team here at Close.
Our team bridges the gap from the features we build and how they’re positioned, messaged and marketed to customers. We are experts in understanding our audience, primarily what we think of as “Small Scaling businesses” and thinking through the lens of what they value.
We sit at the intersection of Product, Marketing, Sales and Success. We collaborate closely with partners across these teams, helping shape product direction and translating it into compelling messaging and go-to-market strategies. We are responsible for educating the wider marketing org about our Product and why it matters, and partnering with Sales to stay close to the voice of the customer and empower them with the assets and insights they need to win.
Product Marketing is still a relatively new function here at Close. We’re actively building strong cross-functional partnerships and defining what PMM means at Close. This next team member will play a key role in bringing fresh eyes and best practices to our team!
As a Sr. Product Marketing Manager at Close, you’ll report to our Head of Product Marketing. You’ll work closely with a few of our Product Area Pods. You’ll help shape the roadmaps, make strategic positioning decisions, and own how we bring new features and narratives to market.
