This role is for the marketing advisory practice at This is effectively a new market and a new customer for and will play a critical leading role in what is effectively a two sided value proposition – first, and internal setting the point of view on the current best practice and future of marketing technology and second, an external role in evangelizing and advising our clients and prospects on this POV.
Advisor to our clients – unlike a traditional technologist, you will need to function as our highest level technology consultant to our growth and marketing clients. They will need to be visionary in their ability to understand and frame solutions inside the complex system and industries where our clients operate. This means they will need to possess significant practitioner capability as well as the soft skills and gravitas to work with senior clients.
Product, offering and partner strategy – Grounded in our strategic POV on marketing strategy and technology, will be responsible for setting and developing our vision on product development, offerings and offering mix, and developing our partner network. Beyond vendor partnerships, we want to develop best in class strategic alliances with key technology vendors – as a point of differentiation in the market.
New business and strategic relationship development – As the senior technologist in our marketing advisory practice, also part of our executive consultative business team. Working on an agency model, we seek to be the trusted advisor to our growth officer clients.
Evangelist for the TCS POV on marketing technology & strategy – To build awareness and consideration among the growth officer class, will be the “voice of marketing technology” and a visionary in terms of the current industry state-of-play as well as future vision and possibility.
Corporate capabilities and organization, in concert with the head of Strategy and CX Strategy – will manage a roadmap of current and future capabilities for the marketing advisory group, contribute to organization design, and help plan our go to market propositions.
You will report into the Managing Partner and will be in daily partnership with the head of Strategy and Operations. The heads of product, service, and business analysis will have a dotted line into you.
As our team expands, you will hire and oversee marketing technology leads within individual industry verticals.
Key responsibilities:
Provide C-Suite clients advisory services on technology, tech partnerships and tech organization design.
Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the business objectives and industry trends
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key partners, industry influencers, and stakeholders to enhance the firm's visibility in the USA market.
Function as a thought leader and spokesperson for the firm, in interviews, panels, and public speaking engagements for an industry audience.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in pursuit of our focus industries and accounts.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats.
Stay abreast of regulatory and compliance considerations relevant to marketing technology in the global markets.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree In computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field.
Master's Degree (Preferred): An MBA or a master's in technology management or a related field.
Work Experience: 15+ years of experience in IT and technology roles, with a minimum of 5-10 years in a senior leadership position.
Global Experience: Proven experience managing technology functions across multiple countries and regions.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the specific industry the company operates in (e.g., finance, healthcare, manufacturing).

Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and execute long-term technology strategies aligned with business goals.
Consulting and advising: Experience with C Suite and VP level consulting on technology, tech partnerships, and tech organization design. Ideally has advised both an internal C-suite team and with clients as a senior consultant.

Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of current and emerging technologies, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, and software development.
