Software Engineer / Developer (Java SpringBoot) Remote Hungary to 1.6 million HUF

UK based FinTech whose SaaS platform is revolutionising digital banking, is seeking skilled Software Engineers with strong Java and SpringBoot skills to join a new team based in Hungary.

As a Software Engineer you'll be working on customer centric applications with a focus on Java backend and messaging services within an event driven microservices architecture. You'll be collaborating with colleagues in Hungary and the UK to problem solve and deliver innovative solutions.

Location / WFH:

You can work from home from anywhere in Hungary on a fulltime basis.

About you:

• You have strong backend Java development skills including SpringBoot
• You have experience working with microservices and event driven systems, ideally you will have Kafka skills but RabbitMQ or SQS is also fine
• You have a good knowledge of databases, including PostgreSQL
• You believe in producing quality code with TDD (Test Driven Development)
• Ideally you will have some experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker
• You enjoy problem solving and collaborating and have fluent English language skills
