- Create and refine game levels, including level layouts, maps, and architectural elements.
- Work on Xbox and PlayStation game design, with PC and mobile-related tooling as needed.
- Collaborate with developers to bring game concepts to life and enhance gameplay experiences.
- Ensure designs follow a "player-first" approach, understanding nuances beyond academic experience.
Requirements:
- Game design experience within a professional studio (not just academic projects).
- Strong programming skills in C# (primary), with exposure to C++ or Python.
- Experience coding and designing games for Xbox or PlayStation.
- Familiarity with Unity and Microsoft technologies (C#, Xbox SDKs, etc.).
- Basic to advanced knowledge of UI/UX in games.
- Passion for gaming with the ability to translate ideas into engaging experiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience at top game studios (Microsoft Studios, Epic Games, Ubisoft, etc.).
- A mix of game design and development skills
