About This Role

If you are an experienced designer from a reputable agency looking for a new challenge, this role could be for you.

CLD is a small agency with an impressive client roster and a welcoming atmosphere. We work with corporate clients across a range of sectors. Our projects range from small B2B lead generation sites to complex multi-site e-commerce builds.

We seek someone with at least five years of agency and web design experience to join our team. You’ll have an outstanding portfolio and a slick website to showcase that work. As well as a body of corporate work, it would be great to see some personal projects in the mix.

What we’re looking for from you

Our in-house Craft CMS developers work with international corporate companies. They need design and UX input, particularly for new clients, but also for redesigns and upgrades to existing functionality. You’ll need to command a high level of Figma to design for and collaborate with that team. You’ll be working under the supervision of a project manager. Forming solid working relationships within that team is key to this role’s success.

You’ll also be supporting our digital marketing team, where you’ll be responsible for campaign ideas and execution and smaller marketing websites and landing pages. We’re looking for someone with experience in working with Webflow, or a burning desire to learn it. Those sites will form part of our offering to clients with smaller budgets and potentially prototypes for our larger Craft CMS projects.

Essential Requirements

Five years plus of web design experience, working in an agency environment
Existing knowledge, or a burning desire to learn Webflow
The ability to demonstrate excellence when it comes to creativity and design flair
Experience using Figma to create designs and design systems using auto layout
An understanding of website accessibility best practice
An understanding of the latest UX/UI and development best practices
Working with web developers
Outstanding attention to detail
Strong communication and client-facing skills
Delivering to deadlines and strong organisational skills
Fluent English speaker
