Overview
Clean Nutraceuticals (aka Clean Nutra) is a fast-growing DTC supplements brand revolutionizing the nutraceuticals space with clean, high-quality products. We're seeking a Director of TikTok Marketing to lead our TikTok-first growth strategy. This role focuses exclusively on leveraging TikTok's ecosystem (Ads, Shop, organic content, influencers) to drive explosive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue in a competitive supplements market. If you're a TikTok native with proven DR expertise scaling health/wellness brands to $10M+ via viral funnels, this is your chance to own our TikTok channel.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop & Execute TikTok Strategies: Build and optimize comprehensive TikTok marketing plans, including ad campaigns, organic content calendars, and TikTok Shop integrations. Focus on direct response tactics like high-converting hooks, VSLs, and pain-agitate-solve videos tailored for supplements (e.g., weight loss, energy boosters).
- Media Buying & Scaling: Manage $1M+ monthly TikTok ad budgets, using TikTok Ads Manager for new customer acquisition and retargeting. Scale new products from $0 to $100k+/day spend while maintaining 3x+ ROAS; implement auto-rules, A/B tests, and fatigue fixes.
- Creative Leadership: Oversee TikTok-specific creative production using AI tools (e.g., CapCut, HeyGen) for rapid iteration. Collaborate with in-house affiliate team on UGC, duets, stitches, and trend-jacking to create viral content that complies with FTC/FDA guidelines for nutraceuticals.
- AI Content Execution: Oversee our AI content automation system to scale organic content posting to 100k + videos per month. Manage organic content posting team and copywriter.
- Influencer & Partnership Management: Work with our Head of Influencer Marketing to identify, recruit, and manage TikTok creators/influencers (micro to macro) for affiliate collabs, whitelisting, and Shop campaigns. Track performance via affiliate links and attribution tools.
- Retention & Lifecycle on TikTok: Leverage Tiktok CRM TikTok-exclusive retention flows, like live sessions, community challenges, and subscription upsells via Shop. Use data to optimize LTV, reduce churn, and tie organic engagement to sales.
- Analytics & Optimization: Leverage TikTok Analytics, Pixel, and third-party tools (e.g., Triple Whale) for real-time reporting.
- Team Leadership: Grow our existing TikTok-focused team (media buyers, affiliate managers, community managers, and analysts); mentor on platform best practices and foster a results-driven culture.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, ops, and compliance teams to launch new supplements via TikTok-first campaigns, ensuring seamless integration with our DTC funnel.
- Innovation & Testing: Stay ahead of TikTok algorithm changes, features, and trends in health/supplements marketing. Experiment with emerging tactics
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years in DTC marketing with 3+ years focused on TikTok for health/wellness/supplements brands. Proven track record scaling TikTok campaigns to $10M+ annual revenue (share metrics like ROAS, CAC, LTV).
- Technical Skills: Expert in TikTok Ads Manager, Shop, Analytics; proficient in AI creative tools, and data platforms (Tableau, Google Analytics). Deep DR and TikTok knowledge (funnels, A/B testing, compliance in regulated spaces).
- Leadership: Experience managing 5+ person teams; strong project management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Mindset: Results-obsessed hustler who thrives on edgy, controversial campaigns (e.g., aggressive hooks that spark debate or polarize viewers but deliver ROAS). Comfortable with "insensitive/exploitative" DR tactics if they drive ethical growth.
- Education: Bachelor's in Marketing, Business, or related; advanced certs (e.g., TikTok Blueprint) a plus.
Location/Flexibility: Willing to relocate/visit Las Vegas; remote OK with proven self-motivation.
