Role Description
- Ideation and Strategy: To ideate and create a content strategy focused on differentiating the brand and engaging traffic across all stages of the buyers funnel.
- Content Creation: Develop engaging content for various marketing channels including social media, emailers, blogs, website copy, playbooks, articles and other platforms as required.
- Research: Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics to stay informed of trends and developments, and leverage insights to create original and relevant content.
- Social Media Management: Manage the social media presence of the brand by taking complete ownership of content creation, posting, page management and engagement.
- Community Management: Manage the brand users community by taking ownership of engaging the audience with content and events.
Candidate requirements
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
- Ability to create compelling content for various channels, including blogs, playbooks, website copy, social media, and email marketing.
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Strong analytical skills to track and measure content performance.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- A strong portfolio of work demonstrating your ability to craft compelling and engaging content and a prior experience in SaaS is a plus
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of content writing experience in both, long format and short format content.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record in creating engaging and conversion based content.
- Preferably with B2B SaaS industry experience.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword research tools.
