Senior Instructional Design Project Manager (Technical / Semiconductor)

Clarity is seeking a Senior Instructional Design Project Manager (contract) to lead a global training transformation for a centralized engineering (Physical Design) team within the semiconductor industry.

Overview

This role will partner with senior L&D leaders to assess, modernize, and scale technical training for both new hires and experienced engineers. Existing content (PPTs, PDFs, videos) is available but requires restructuring, updating, and alignment into a cohesive learning strategy.

Scope (2 Phases)

Phase 1: Needs Analysis & Scoping

• Evaluate existing content and identify priority learning areas
• Define learning strategy, project plan, and roadmap

Phase 2: Design & Delivery (potential extension)

• Lead execution and manage cross-functional teams
• Partner with SMEs to redesign and develop content
• Build structured learning paths and deploy via LMS/SharePoint

What We’re Looking For

• Senior-level ID PM with strong needs analysis and scoping experience
• Background in semiconductor or highly technical environments
• Proven ability to lead large L&D initiatives and teams
• Excellent communicator, comfortable working with VP-level stakeholders

Hours: up to 40 hours per week

Location: Virtual

The pay range for this is $70.00 to $75.00 per hour on an independent contractor basis. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
