In September 2024, we were certified as a "great place to work" from GreatPlaceToWork.com for the 3rd year running!

Does this sound like you?

The Director of Marketing is responsible for audience growth, attendee revenue, and demand generation for one of our fastest-growing B2B events and brands, MAU Vegas, the flagship event of the mobile app growth community. Areas of responsibility include creating and executing data-driven strategies to build, nurture, and convert audiences through creative approaches to engagement, tools, and branding.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic, visible marketing leader with expertise in B2B event marketing, strong analytical skills, curiosity for learning about the customers and industries served, a track record of driving successful campaigns, and a collaborative and transparent approach to communication and leadership.

As the Director of Marketing, your role will be to develop, deliver, and continually adapt innovative marketing and data strategies to increase attendee acquisition, retention, and revenue—collecting and delivering on customer insights throughout the event cycle. Within the overarching MAU Vegas marketing strategy, there will be unique strategies, goals, and customer needs for niche audiences. Clarion retains the right to adjust your role in the digital innovation portfolio to meet business needs.

If the answer is yes, we'd love to hear from you!

How you'll make an impact:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive data-driven marketing strategies to achieve business objectives, including lead generation, customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • All performance marketing plans encompass a diversified channel approach with digital, email, partnership, content, PR and social media marketing, to maximize attendee registration and revenue.
  • Collaborate closely with the Event Leadership, Content, Production and Sponsorship teams to ensure that marketing strategies align with agendas, target audience needs, and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Maximize the strategic use of social media to build community, strengthen brand voice, amplify messaging, and drive measurable attendee engagement and conversions year-round.
  • Leverage customer insights, market research, and collaboration with functional leaders to continually identify key target segments, understand their pain points, and tailor marketing messaging to address their needs.
  • Track and analyze marketing campaign performance, using data-driven insights and customer insights to optimize strategies, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead the development and consistent execution of compelling marketing collateral, including website, email campaigns, marketing copy, social media content, and promotional materials.
  • Oversee the budget allocation for marketing activities, ensuring effective resource utilization and maximum ROI.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in marketing; implement innovative solutions to enhance campaign effectiveness
  • Drive post-event analysis to assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts and gather customer insights for future events and best practices to implement across other events.
  • Maintain full transparent insight into marketing performance, ROI and KPIs and customer insights through weekly pacing reports, performance dashboards and regular marketing updates.
