About the Role
We are an early-stage startup and are building upon our foundational team. We’ve already established traction with over 400,000+ user signups, build a foundational user platform, and achieved early profitability. Our goal is to continue our scaling to bring our platform to millions of users.
You will be an early engineering hire joining a small but mighty engineering team. As such, you will have an important role in helping set end-to-end technical direction, prioritizing and implementing product features to drive company goals, and shaping our engineering culture as we grow.
You Will
- Develop software solutions that scale, using modern technologies
- Improve code quality through reviews, testing, and best practices
- Own a large part of the process from problem understanding to shipping the solution
- Work closely with the CTO and CPO to develop roadmaps and establish priorities
- Work closely in small engineering pods or by yourself to build and ship features
- Take on significant technical challenges and have a large impact
- Have the ability to shape and improve our engineering culture
You Have
- 4+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, ideally in a startup environment
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
- Built applications with React / NextJS / Vercel / Postgres or similar technologies
- Commitment to technical excellence in your own work and with teammates – we are building for quality and scale, not just a perpetual MVP
- Comfort working independently in an unstructured environment and adapting quickly to changing priorities
- Scrappy and humble attitude with a willingness to dive into any problem and learn whatever technologies or tools necessary to build the best version of the product
- Collaborative approach to work and communication with the ability to work async, coordinate projects, solve blockers, and resolve conflicts effectively within the engineering team and across functions
- Impact and prioritization obsessed - we are a small team and can’t do everything at once. What you choose to focus on (and more importantly not focus on) will define our success.
- Experience working in a predominantly remote environment as a software engineer, especially as part of an early-stage startup

The minimum and maximum base salary for this role is:
- For Senior Software Engineer (4+ years of relevant experience): $150,000 to $200,000
- For Software Engineer (0 to 4 years of relevant experience): $100,000 to $150,000
Title and compensation will be determined by years of relevant experience as defined in the job requirements. We will consider applicants who do not fulfill all of our requirements, but the offered role will be a Software Engineer.
