Position Description
As a Customer Marketing Manager at CivicPlus, you will play a vital part in fostering strong connections with our customers and ensuring their continued satisfaction by developing and executing strategies to engage, inform, and retain valued customers. This role will work closely with the Customer Success team, Product Strategy team, and other stakeholders to create meaningful interactions and opportunities for education with the customers in your product portfolio.

As a Customer Marketing Manager You Will
Develop and implement comprehensive, multi-channel customer retention programs designed to increase product usage, communicate value, prevent churn, and elevate the overall customer experience. You'll drive alignment and awareness across key stakeholders—including product, customer success, account management, demand generation, and product marketing—ensuring cohesive campaign execution. You will create and manage customer communications strategies that support product migrations and relationship-building efforts, with thoughtfully crafted touchpoints that demonstrate value and position CivicPlus as a true partner. You will also establish and execute a winback strategy to make rejoining the CivicPlus family simple and appealing. Leveraging data-driven insights, you’ll measure and refine campaign effectiveness, continually optimizing communication and retention strategies. You’ll be responsible for timely and accurate emergency customer communications by collaborating with internal teams, as well as managing a customer communications calendar to ensure consistent, relevant outreach. With a deep understanding of your product portfolio, you’ll focus on the problems our products solve and the value they deliver, creating educational content such as tutorials, webinars, and knowledge base articles to drive adoption and engagement. Additionally, you’ll own the monthly customer newsletter, curating and approving content from across departments while continually seeking to enhance reader engagement.
Compensation And Benefits
Estimated Salary Range: $61,700 - $87,600
The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and is based on a 40-hour work week.
