Civera is an early-stage software startup that’s on a mission to make government more transparent and accountable. We love what we do, we have fun doing it, and we’re looking for a versatile Full-Stack Software Engineer with React expertise and UX chops to keep us innovating far into the future.
Our ground-breaking software has been featured in The New York Times and WIRED and is becoming the nation’s most popular government portal for citizens to find election results and understand money in politics. Our tools are already launched in ten US states and are poised for adoption by other state, county, and municipal governments, and even other countries — but we need your help.
You are a mid-tier or senior software engineer with at least 3 years of full-time experience in building React web applications, including familiarity with multiple frameworks, strong programming fundamentals, and typical web application development and deployment processes. We are looking for a React Developer who is capable of working on multiple projects at once and seeing them all through to completion, and a self-starter who is able to work through any obstacles to get the job done. A passion for our mission of serving the public through better government transparency is highly recommended.
