The Role

We need a Senior Software Engineer who operates like a founder. Someone who can architect, build, and ship full features end-to-end, without asking for permission, or waiting for a spec.

This is zero-to-one engineering in a high-stakes, high-speed environment. You’ll write code that ships to production daily, drives revenue, and directly impacts lives.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and ship features across the stack — no silos, no handoffs
• Rewrite brittle legacy flows into scalable, elegant systems
• Own key infrastructure decisions and obsess over performance
• Move fast, break stuff (intelligently), and actually learn from it
• Work directly with the CEO and cross-functional leadership team
• Be a magnet for other A-players — we’ll build a world-class team around you

You will have full autonomy, full accountability, and zero BS in your way. We care about outcomes, not Jira tickets or fake deadlines.

• Backend: Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, AWS
• Frontend: React, TypeScript
• Infra: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), CI/CD
• Bonus if you can help evolve it. Big bonus if you can scale it under pressure.

Compensation

Who You Are

This role is for the top 1% of engineers who:

• Think and act like founders, not employees
• Have 5–10+ years of serious software engineering experience (but don’t care about titles)
• Are product-obsessed — you care about UX, growth, and how your code drives the business
• Move insanely fast, and can still sleep at night knowing your code is clean and tested
• Don’t ask for permission — you own the outcome, and you’re allergic to red tape
• Want to grind, not coast — you like the 60–80 hour weeks because you believe
• Have led or built real products from 0 to 1 (and have the scars to prove it)
