- Air is a flight distribution platform that allows airlines and tour operators to effortlessly sell flights across 120+ online travel agents (OTAs) and metasearch websites.
- Zenith is a PSS empowering airlines to grow by delivering customer-centric offers, optimizing revenue, and ensuring seamless experiences.
Your Role
As Marketing and Communications Manager, you'll play a key strategic role in the group, shaping and executing a comprehensive strategy to increase CitizenPlane's visibility and position the company as a credible, innovative leader in the aviation industry.
Your primary goal is to build on existing work, further enhancing brand awareness and establishing CitizenPlane as a trusted, forward-thinking player across the market. You'll craft impactful messages and drive a unique communication strategy that reflects our identity—young, dynamic, and slightly disruptive in our marketing approach.
Additionally, you'll focus on brand positioning, making CitizenPlane the go-to reference for media, consultants, investors, airlines, and other key industry stakeholders. Your role will ensure CitizenPlane is consistently cited and consulted as a major player in the sector.
Key responsibilities
1. Marketing communications strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communication plan that supports CitizenPlane’s business objectives and product positioning across all channels.
- Ensure that key messages, brand identity, and product value propositions are effectively communicated to targeted audiences.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align the communication strategy with company-wide goals, ensuring a unified voice across all touchpoints (events, digital platforms, social media, etc.).
2. Event management and communication
- Manage the marketing communications strategy for global aviation industry events, such as T2RL, World Aviation Festival, and other key airline-related events. This will involve overseeing the planning and execution of event participation.
- Ensure that the event setup, logistics, and communication materials (brochures, flyers, digital assets) are consistent, impactful, and aligned with our brand identity.
- Lead pre- and post-event communication to maximize engagement, including developing outreach campaigns and following up with participants through targeted content and personalized interactions.
3. Sales support for Zenith and AIR Business Units
- Support the Zenith and AIR sales teams by developing and maintaining marketing collateral that aligns with the group’s new branding guidelines.
- Create high-quality content for sales decks, presentations, and promotional materials to enhance the sales process.
- Ensure the consistent application of the brand identity across all platforms, including social media (LinkedIn), website content, and sales tools.
- Collaborate with sales teams and internal stakeholders to ensure that marketing content addresses customer needs and technical specifications.
4. Content creation and Product newsletters
- Develop and oversee the production of B2B newsletters targeting current and prospective clients, promoting product features, updates, and commercial initiatives.
- Create and distribute content that highlights new product features, pushes key messages, and informs clients about important updates.
- Manage content creation for digital channels (e.g., LinkedIn, website), ensuring messaging is relevant, timely, and tailored to specific audience segments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content is technically accurate and meets customer expectations.
Skills we're looking for
We are seeking a candidate with:
- At least 5 years of proven experience in marketing and communications, preferably in the tech industry or fast-paced startup environments.
- Strong content creation skills across various formats, including newsletters, social media, and promotional materials.
- Proven ability to manage global events, ensuring consistent and impactful event-related communication.
- Expertise in B2B marketing, particularly in complex industries such as aviation or digital solutions.
- Experience working remotely within a dynamic French-based company, with a focus on effective collaboration across time zones.
- Ability to operate at a group level, coordinating communication and marketing strategies across different business units.
- Outstanding cross-functional collaboration skills, working closely with sales, product, and external stakeholders to drive business objectives.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including email marketing and social media management tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Fluency in English is essential; French proficiency and additional languages are a plus.
