What is in it for you?

An ML Ops Engineer is responsible for monitoring, installation, configuration, administration, trouble shooting and maintenance of multiple data science tools and technology solutions. The MLOps Engineer will work with the data science team to develop and maintain a platform that automates training, deployment and monitoring the performance of machine learning models , troubleshooting any errors that may occur and creating highly scalable, efficient, and easy-to-maintain solutions.

Responsibilities: -

• Design the data pipelines and engineering infrastructure to support our clients’ enterprise machine learning systems at scale
• Take off the model’s that data scientists build and turn them into a real machine learning production system.
• Develop and deploy scalable tools and services for our clients to handle machine learning training and inference.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies to improve performance, maintainability, and reliability of our clients’ machine learning systems.
• Apply software engineering rigor and best practices to machine learning, including CI/CD, automation, etc.
• Support model development, with an emphasis on auditability, versioning, and data security.
• Facilitate the development and deployment of proof-of-concept machine learning systems.
• Co-ordinating with other IT teams e.g., Linux, Infrastructure, data engineering,Security etc.
• Maintain the infrastructure that supports the models and algorithms that power the products of the organization, including:
• Monitoring the performance of these systems
• Identifying ways to improve their performance.
• Investigating issues when they arise
• Maintain and develop data feature store that data scientists can use to prepare the data set required for the modeling by combining data from different domains and sources across the organization.
• Monitoring the model performance in production and ability to develop model drift methodologies

Educational Qualifications: -

• Engineering Degree – BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.
• Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.

Skills: -

Mandatory skills

• 2-3 years of experience working with ML Ops
• 5 -7 years of experience with Python programing and SQL
• 3-5 years of experience working with Pyspark, Scala, stored procedures in Snowflake/ any other cloud computing and database systems
• Strong understanding of the full machine learning lifecycle.
• Experience working with DevOps and building the DevOps pipelines (Azure/AWS/Snowflake)
• Experience building custom integrations between cloud-based systems using APIs.
• Experience developing and maintaining ML systems built with open-source tools.

Additional skills: -

• Exposure to machine learning methodology and best practices
• Exposure to deep learning approaches and modeling frameworks (PyTorch, Tensorflow, Keras, etc.)
• Experience working in Agile environment.
• A desire for ongoing training, keeping up-to-date with the latest cloud and machine learning technologies
• Handling load balancing,authentication, integration hardware sizing and configuration
• Understand the importance of continuous learning and personal development.
• Knowledge about statistics is a plus.
• Ability to translate business needs to technical requirements.
