Founded by world-renowned leaders in genomics and maternal-fetal medicine, our breakthrough platform separates fetal and maternal genetic material from a single blood sample—delivering the first high precision, noninvasive prenatal diagnostic system of its kind. We are self-funded, science-led, and mission-driven. Our national commercial partner is in place, and our next chapter is about scaling software to match our scientific impact. We’re growing fast and we’re looking for a Software Engineer who’s excited by that intersection of biotech, diagnostics, and data.

What You’ll Do

You’ll join a highly collaborative technical team working across software, data, and cloud infrastructure. Your code will help clinicians access, interpret, and act on complex genomic data—ultimately improving care for pregnant patients and their babies.

You will:

Build backend systems and APIs that process genomic workflows at scale
Design and maintain secure data pipelines and database architectures
Develop tools and interfaces to support clinical reporting and research
Collaborate with bioinformaticians and data scientists to integrate analysis workflows
Contribute to process improvement, documentation, and team communication

What You Bring

3+ years of backend or full-stack development experience in biotech, diagnostics or scientific computing environments
Experience working with large-scale datasets, batch data pipelines, and GCP or other cloud platforms
Proficiency in Python, Java, R, or equivalent
Strong understanding of data privacy, security practices, and working with PHI
A proactive, collaborative working style with strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

Familiarity with WDL, Cromwell, Nextflow, or similar workflow orchestration
Experience in diagnostics or clinical software development
Interest in using software to directly improve patient outcomes
