As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will own the technical roadmap for our app and collaborate closely with designers, clinicians, and engineers to deliver features that directly improve how people access healthcare.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical roadmap and architecture of the Circle Medical iOS app.

Implement, test, and maintain patient-facing features with a focus on security, scalability, and performance.

Collaborate with design, product, and clinical teams to create delightful, intuitive user experiences.

Maintain and improve the CI/CD release pipeline to ensure reliable, high-quality weekly releases.

Write secure, HIPAA-compliant software that patients and clinicians can trust.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to hiring, culture, and best practices.

Skills / Qualifications Required

7+ years of professional experience as a Mobile Software Engineer, with significant iOS expertise.

Proven experience shipping and maintaining commercial iOS applications at scale.

Deep knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and the iOS ecosystem.

Strong understanding of modern architectures (MVVM, reactive programming).

Experience with RxSwift, Combine, or similar reactive frameworks.

A commitment to testing, quality, and engineering best practices.

A strong eye for clean, user-friendly iOS design and UX.

Skills / Qualifications Preferred

Experience in healthcare or a strong interest in improving patient care.

BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Math, or related fields.

Experience making product and design decisions in addition to technical ones.

Knowledge of computer security and best practices for protecting sensitive data.

Some exposure to Android or cross-platform development.

Compensation

In alignment with our values, Circle Medical has transparent salaries based on location, output levels, and options to trade cash for stock. This is a full-time, salaried position, with an annual salary (cash and stock combined) that varies depending on location:

New York Metro: $146,800 to 183,600 USD.

Chicago Metro: $130,560 to $163,200 USD.

General US: $114,240 to $142,800 USD.
