This is a multidisciplinary role that sits at the junction of user experience, product design, and brand expression. This role exists to make the path from discovery to loyal subscriber as clear, compelling, and friction-free as possible. You will own the design of in-product acquisition and retention flows, working closely with product and marketing to optimize the subscriber funnel. At the same time, you will collaborate with our brand and graphic design team on the campaigns and external touchpoints that bring people to the platform in the first place all while ensuring the user experience feels coherent from first impression to long-term engagement. This is a hands-on role for someone with broad design instincts, a genuine user-first mindset, fluency with AI creative tools, and the resourcefulness to produce high-quality work in a lean, fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and continuously improve in-product acquisition and retention flows, including trial activation, onboarding experiences, upgrade prompts, and cancellation prevention.
- Champion a user-first approach throughout, bringing UX thinking, viewer empathy, and usability principles into every product and campaign decision.
- Collaborate with product and marketing to identify and resolve conversion drop-off points across the subscriber funnel, using data and user insight to drive decisions.
- Work closely with the brand and graphic design team on digital advertising assets across Meta, Google, and TikTok — contributing to creative direction and maintaining visual coherence across in-product and external touchpoints.
- Translate data signals and funnel metrics into clear, testable design decisions all while partnering with product and analytics to run experiments and measure impact.
- Design and produce CRM campaign assets: emails, push notifications, and in-app messages that drive engagement, re-activation, and retention across the subscriber lifecycle.
- Use AI-powered design and creative tools proactively to accelerate ideation, generate visual concepts, and improve production efficiency across both product and brand work.
- Define and document UI patterns, component logic, and interaction standards that bring structure, scalability, and consistency to the platform's design practice.
- Develop and maintain a unified design system spanning brand, social media, product, and advertising assets all while ensuring every output is consistent, scalable, and production-ready across channels.
Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience in product design, UX design, or brand/digital design, with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines.
- A portfolio showing strong visual craft across UI design, digital campaigns, or brand work, ideally with examples relevant to subscription or media products.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving, small-team environment and bring structure to ambiguous briefs.
- Proficiency in Figma, including component creation, prototyping, and design systems.
- Solid grasp of conversion-oriented UX design: landing pages, onboarding flows, modals, and calls to action.
- Comfortable working from data: able to read funnel metrics, form hypotheses, and iterate based on results.
- Confident, hands-on user of AI-assisted design tools and creative automation workflows that uses AI to raise output quality and pace, not just as a shortcut.
- UX writing and microcopy is strongly desirable: ability to craft clear, on-brand copy for onboarding flows, CTAs, error states, and in-product communications.
- Experience with motion tools (After Effects, Premiere, or equivalent) and familiarity with streaming, media, or subscription products will be considered a bonus.
