What you will do

You’ll be joining the Design to Life team as a Senior/Lead UX Designer where you will help our customers get value from the designs they have created. Vista offers professional design services so that customers can create a logo and brand identity that suits their needs. We also provide a broad range of print and digital products to help customers showcase their brand and promote their business. Your role is to help connect these services so that customers can seamlessly transition between the design and fulfilment experiences and bring their designs to life.

• Contribute to the user experience of the design to life flow from conception to launch, utilizing user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading designs.

• Be hands-on at every stage of the design process—from discovery through detailed design, execution, and iteration—creating user flows, wireframes, pixel perfect designs, and prototypes along the way to bring ideas to life.

• Partner closely with cross-functional team members and collaborators around product problems, solutions, requirements, roadmaps, and priorities.

• Work with data, consumer insights, and UX research partners for foundational guidance on product direction, and new concept validation.

• Present concepts to immediate and cross-functional team members with confidence and an open mind to feedback and constructive criticism.

• Ensure cohesiveness with the Vista design system and marketing brand guidelines.

• Share and evangelize user-centered design methods across Vista.

Your Qualifications

4-8 years of experience designing digital products as a UX or Product Designer, preferably in the B2C e-commerce space.

• Strong portfolio showcasing UX and design skills through multiple case studies demonstrating user-centered and innovative design solutions with measurable outcomes for users and the business.

• Ability to build strong relationships with cross functional peers,including designers, product managers, and engineers.

• Experience leveraging quantitative and/or qualitative data to inspire simple design solutions and decisions to complex customer and business problems.

• Passion for designing simple solutions to complex consumer and business problems.

• Ability to clearly and confidently present design concepts and solutions to a variety of audiences and accept and interpret feedback and constructive criticism.

• Understanding of type, hierarchy, color, composition, contrast, and other graphic design fundamentals.

• Passion for design trends, tools, processes, and methodologies, and a willingness to learn and share new ideas with the team.

• Expertise in the latest design software to create high-fidelity mock-ups and prototypes.

Nice to have:

• Relevant degree in field of Design or HCI.

• B2C e-commerce experience.

• Experience working with globally distributed teams, and/or in highly matrixed organizations.

• Experience designing across responsible web and native mobile platforms, as well as within large-scale digital ecosystems.
