About the role:

As a Senior/Lead UX/UI Designer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

For our newest product we require a German-speaking Senior or Lead UX/UI Designer that can work on two fronts: on the one hand, conducting user research, defining the future user journey, and actively shaping the product vision in collaboration with the product owner with wire framing and ideation – on the other hand, actively guiding and supporting the development team (located in Pune/India) with creation of the product through high-fidelity screen designs. We therefore require someone with (design) strategy experience, as well as a strong hands-on design toolkit.

Responsibilities:

Helps team define and shape the experience strategy, facilitating work sessions with stakeholders and users to define key design goals and requirements
Conducts user research to discover insights, define user personas, and map user journeys
Develops new product concepts, storyboards, detailed interaction designs and screen flows, and prototypes to clearly articulate solutions
Works with POs to align the roadmap to vision and continuous insights to ensure voice of the customer is heard
Synthesizes customer insights across research at the journey level
Actively collaborates as part of an agile team to ensure designs are feasible and implemented accurately
Constantly looks for better ways of solving technical problems and designing the solution, not afraid to challenge the status quo

Requirements:

Ability to direct clear and creative artifacts (e.g., task flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes)
Seasoned design expertise with deep insight into newest methods, trends, and design operations
Significant experience driving design outcomes in an Agile infrastructure, environments, and deployment strategies
Can make design decisions at a team and product level
Experience in Agile Development as a designer
Understands relationship between Product Owner, Scrum Master, and rest of the team, with a strong sense of design thinking
Experience managing design priorities within the backlog
Strong communication skills with ability to align the organization on complex product decisions while advocating the voice of the customer
