Job Description
The Copywriter - Marketing is responsible for writing and editing marketing and sales materials across a range of channels, including website, digital ads, email, social media, and presentation. The Copywriter crafts compelling and engaging copy in multiple formats by combining an active intellectual curiosity, a natural ability to build relationships with internal and external subject-matter experts, and exceptional writing and editing skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ideate, research, outline, draft and edit copy for communications pieces, including website copy, social media content, emails, case studies, digital ads, articles, Q&As, sell sheets, and presentations.
- Move seamlessly from writing engaging, concise marketing copy (ads, social, headlines, video scripts, etc.) to effective longer-form marketing content (news releases, thought leadership, case studies, etc.)
- Edit content from various sources for spelling, grammar, brand voice & style, and SEO.
- Generate engagement and conversation with creative storytelling, pulling out compelling narratives from conversations with the business.
- Collaborate with other writers and designers on creative ideation and to bring insights to life visually through infographics, images, videos, etc.
- Independently monitor industry and competitor publications globally, providing analysis and input into the direction of the Cielo editorial calendar.

Qualifications
Position Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, or relevant field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional writing experience in a similar role within the marketing industry.
- B2B content marketing in an in-house setting is required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Writing for global audiences, with a specific focus on APAC, is preferred.
- Writing for SaaS, tech, etc. is a plus.
- Writing for multiple channels and platforms is preferred.
Exposure:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptionally accurate writing and editing talents.
- Detail-oriented from start to finish.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of generative AI and how it can support the creative process.
- Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices.
