We are hiring an Sales Marketing Operations Manager (HubSpot) for a boutique payroll solutions company in the Financial Services and SME Support industry. This is a full-time remote role for a U.S.-based company. This role is ideal for a proactive, tech-savvy professional who can bridge the gap between high-level administrative support and marketing operations, specifically within the HubSpot ecosystem. Hard requirement: hands-on experience with HubSpot.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex scheduling, organize digital files, and consolidate data from multiple spreadsheets into streamlined reports.
- Manage email communications, follow-ups, and task tracking.
- Execute marketing email campaigns, manage lead tracking, and maintain CRM hygiene.
- Create and manage automated workflows within HubSpot to support sales and marketing efforts.
- Build and maintain HubSpot workflows, automations, pipelines, and reporting dashboards.
- Manage contact segmentation, lists, and lifecycle stages.
- Help build and refine internal processes and SOPs.
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and sales materials.
- Act as a professional front-of-house for the executive team, handling outward-facing communications with a neutral, professional tone.
- Take ownership of ad hoc marketing projects from conception to execution as directed by the leadership team.
- Assist in coordinating internal projects and cross-functional initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years proven experience as an Sales or Marketing Operations Assistant.
- Comfortable performing some Executive Assistant duties
- Proven HubSpot proficiency and confidence using marketing email and CRM features.
- 2+ years proven experience with data management, including the ability to manipulate and merge complex spreadsheets.
- Experience working with U.S.-based clients.
- Background or foundational understanding of the finance, payroll, or SME service sector.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hybrid role involving both administrative and marketing tasks.
- Knowledge of U.S. business culture and small-to-medium enterprise dynamics.
Required Skills & Tools:
- CRM: HubSpot, required.
- Productivity: Microsoft Excel, advanced, and Google Workspace.
- Communication: Slack, Zoom, and professional VoIP systems.
- Project Management: Basic understanding of workflow automation tools.
Schedule & Pay:
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
- This is a fully remote job for a U.S.-based company.
- Pay ranges from R14,500 to R21,500 per month, depending on experience and skill.
- Annual raises, bonuses, and confirmed holidays and PTO.
