An Implementation Architect at Cherre is a highly experienced engineer responsible for taking a pre-defined client solution and translating it into a detailed, actionable implementation plan within Cherre in partnership with other key roles (Client Success Manager, Project Manager, Solution Architect). This role is critical to ensuring success in strategic, enterprise-level implementations, where complexity, scale, and precision are required.

Job Summary

• Cherre is seeking a highly experienced Senior Engineer Implementation Architect to translate complex client solutions into detailed, actionable implementation plans. This role involves close collaboration with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and Client Success Managers to ensure successful delivery of strategic, enterprise-level implementations. The Implementation Architect will be responsible for assessing technical feasibility, identifying risks, designing scalable architectures, proactively mitigating technical and logistical roadblocks and executing on solutions when required. This position requires the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences and to contribute to the development of Cherre's implementation methodologies and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Technical Solution Design & Implementation: Translate complex client solutions from Solution Architects and FRDs into detailed, actionable technical implementation plans, including architectural design, data flow diagrams, and resource estimation. Develop and optimize complex data ingestion and ETL processes, design data warehouse solutions, and write advanced SQL/NoSQL queries to meet strategic client requirements.
• Drive End-to-End Feature Ownership & Platform Evolution: Take full ownership of strategic implementation features from development and testing to production deployment and ongoing support. Drive the evolution of Cherre's data platform architecture, technology stack, and development best practices in alignment with client needs and Cherre's roadmap.
• Strategic Client Engagement & Technical Communication: Engage directly with clients (via calls, workshops) to thoroughly understand their specific use cases, detailed requirements, and operational workflows, asking probing questions to uncover implicit needs. Effectively communicate complex technical concepts, implementation progress, and challenges to both technical and non-technical client audiences and internal stakeholders.
• Proactive Problem Solving & Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and strategically mitigate critical technical and logistical roadblocks during implementation. Proactively manage risks and dependencies to ensure quality deliverables and successful project outcomes.
• Leverage AI for Efficiency and Quality: Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI and automation tools to improve throughput, enhance efficiency, and ensure the consistent quality of deliverables across strategic client implementations.
• Cross-functional Leadership & Collaboration: Drive cross-functional alignment and secure necessary engineering and data resources for large-scale client implementations, resolving significant inter-team technical dependencies. Collaborate effectively across teams by building strong working relationships with Solution Architects, Project Managers, Client Success Managers, and Engineering.
• Methodology Enhancement & Product Influence: Contribute significantly to the development and refinement of Cherre's implementation methodologies, tools, and best practices. Provide detailed technical feedback and architectural input on the Cherre Product roadmap based on client implementation outcomes.

Experience & Qualities:

• 7-10 years experience in engineering or equivalent years of experience, with significant experience in strategic, enterprise-level implementations.
• Proven ability to anticipate and strategically mitigate critical technical and logistical risks across multiple client projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Ability to properly communicate complex technical concepts and project statuses to both technical and non-technical client audiences. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership. Ability to deal with ambiguity and communicate well with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience with modern data technologies and architectures, including cloud services and big data platforms.
• Strong experience in database technologies and data warehousing
• Strong experience in Python
• Experience with service oriented architecture and good understanding of distributed systems, data stores, data modeling, and indexing
• Hands on experience with BigQuery, PostgreSQL, and large-scale distributed storage and database systems
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and communicate well with both technical and non-technical teams
