Role Summary
impact.com is the world's leading commerce partnership marketing platform. We are hiring a Content Marketing Manager for a fully remote, individual contributor role within the Content Marketing team. You will report to the Director of Content and work alongside a Senior Content Marketing Manager.
This role focuses on the execution of a well-built content program for the Creator product (connecting brands with influencers). You will manage end-to-end content execution, including blogging, case studies, and demand-gen assets, ensuring content drives measurable business results through data-driven distribution strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Content Production & Management
- Execute content briefs (SEO/AIO) and manage relationships with a roster of freelance writers.
- Own the content lifecycle: ideation, planning, briefing, editorial review, publication, and optimization.
- Conduct keyword research using Semrush, with a focus on both traditional search and Large Language Model (LLM) optimization (AIO).
- Interview subject matter experts and translate complex business topics into clear, compelling stories for marketers.
- Produce diverse formats: long-form blog posts, case studies, ebooks, templates, worksheets, and creator profile stories.
Reporting & Optimization
- Track content performance metrics and contribute to Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
- Utilize data dashboards to identify optimization opportunities for published content.
- Connect content activity directly to pipeline and revenue metrics alongside the Go-To-Market (GTM) team.
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
- Experience: 3–5 years of content marketing experience with a focus on long-form content.
- Storytelling: Ability to find engaging angles for dry business topics for a B2B marketing audience.
- SEO Skills: Hands-on experience with keyword research, content briefs, and on-page optimization.
- Formats: Experience writing or managing case studies and demand-gen content (ebooks, templates).
- Editorial Instincts: Strong ability to review and meaningfully improve drafts.
- Work Style: Comfortable working asynchronously across time zones, with availability for morning overlap meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Semrush or comparable SEO platforms.
- Background in B2B SaaS, martech, or creator/influencer marketing.
- Experience with content performance reporting and GTM-connected content.
- Awareness of AIO (AI Optimization) and how to structure content for LLM-driven search.
