Job – Sr. Product Marketing Manager

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 12 months with possibility of extension

Recent HM Feedback

  • Need candidates with 5–7+ years of strong Product Marketing experience.
  • Avoid candidates mainly focused on Content Marketing or Program Management.
  • Avoid security-heavy profiles; security should not be their primary focus.
  • Prioritize B2B SaaS / Enterprise IT experience with broad GTM ownership.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration is very important.
  • Be cautious with candidates from Cisco, Oracle, VMware who may have had narrow/siloed responsibilities.

Portfolio Required

  • Internal GTM Strategy or Message House – showing product positioning, messaging, audience, and launch strategy.
  • External marketing samples – such as a blog, landing page, customer story, webinar, or eBook.
  • Sales enablement – such as battlecards, sales plays, or pitch decks.

Best: 1 GTM/message house + 2–3 customer-facing assets + 1 sales enablement example.

Job Description

Seeking a hands-on Senior Product Marketing Manager with 5–9 years of experience to support Rovo Studio, a no-code platform for building AI agents, automations, apps, and agentic workflows across Atlassian products. The primary focus is driving product adoption among enterprise IT administrators and designated AI builders. The candidate must independently develop marketing strategies and execute campaigns end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own product adoption goals and execute campaigns to increase Rovo Studio adoption.
  • Promote approximately 30 AI templates tailored to different user personas.
  • Develop and execute adoption campaigns, including e-books, webinars, landing pages, white papers, and email campaigns.
  • Drive enterprise demand generation in collaboration with email, advertising, and marketing teams.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging for technical and enterprise audiences.
  • Collect and leverage customer success stories for campaigns, events, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with product teams to influence roadmaps, governance capabilities, and product positioning.
  • Support major marketing events, including booths and presentations.
  • Independently manage campaign strategy, execution, and performance measurement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5–9 years of product marketing experience, preferably in enterprise SaaS, AI platforms, developer tools, workflow automation, or low-code/no-code products.
  • Proven experience owning enterprise product adoption and demand generation campaigns with measurable business impact.
  • Hands-on experience experimenting with AI agents, automations, and prompt-driven workflows. Personal AI projects and agent-building experience are highly valued.
  • Strong positioning, messaging, and go-to-market skills for technical products and enterprise buyers.
  • Experience collaborating with product management, demand generation, email, advertising, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to influence product roadmaps using customer insights and market feedback.
  • Understanding of enterprise IT administrators, technical buyers, governance requirements, and complex enterprise buying cycles.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to execute independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Backgrounds

Candidates from the following companies or similar organizations are encouraged:

  • Enterprise Platforms: Salesforce, ServiceNow, Snowflake
  • AI & Developer Platforms: Microsoft Copilot Studio, Zapier, Workato
  • Other: Adobe, particularly candidates with experience in AI transformation and collaborative enterprise environments.
  • Startup candidates are also welcome if they have experience marketing to enterprise buyers and managing complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Previous software development experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Hands-on product marketer who can own strategy and execute campaigns without significant guidance.
  • Demonstrated success driving product adoption and improving business metrics.
  • Actively builds or experiments with AI tools, agents, and automations beyond routine AI productivity use.
  • Strong experience influencing product direction and collaborating with product teams.
  • Able to work asynchronously with product teams based in Australia.
  • Comfortable managing complex initiatives across large organizations.

Key Evaluation Criteria

  • Quantifiable campaign results, adoption improvements, and business impact.
  • Evidence of owning high-impact initiatives, budgets, and strategic decisions.
  • Portfolio or work samples demonstrating marketing capabilities.
  • Personal AI projects, agent-building experience, or relevant LinkedIn activity.
  • Clear examples of product roadmap influence and end-to-end campaign ownership.

Deal Breakers

  • No hands-on AI experimentation or agent-building experience.
  • Limited experience executing enterprise product adoption campaigns.
  • Candidates who are too senior and primarily delegate rather than execute.
  • Customer marketing-only backgrounds without strong product marketing experience.
  • Limited enterprise buyer exposure or weak cross-functional product influence.

Location Requirements

  • Preferred: California and other Pacific Time Zone locations.
  • Also acceptable: Mountain Time Zone, including Colorado, Utah, and Idaho.
  • East Coast candidates are less preferred due to collaboration requirements with teams in Australia.
