What You'll Build
- End-to-end systems for issuing bank infrastructure demanding 99.999% uptime
- High-throughput, low-latency services processing sensitive financial data
- Scalable backend systems alongside our CTO and senior engineers
- Architecture and practices that will define our engineering culture as we scale
Our Tech Stack
- Frontend: Angular
- Backend: Swift (experience required or strong willingness to learn)
- Database: Postgres
- Deployment: Heroku
- Tooling: Modern AI coding tools (Cursor, Codeium) - big plus
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years professional software engineering (fintech/infrastructure/payments preferred)
- Strong backend systems experience with high-throughput, low-latency services
- Swift experience or motivation to learn quickly (non-negotiable)
- Large-scale data systems experience (event streaming, real-time analytics) - bonus
- Startup mindset - comfortable with ambiguity, fast-moving, outcome-focused
- Design/UX sensibility for implementation
- Fluent English and excellent communication skills
- Bonus points: Experience at Stripe, Adyen, Nubank, C6 Bank, or similar payment processors

- Base Salary: $33-40K/year
- Monthly Bonus: 8-14% of base (performance-based, paid weekly)
- Year-end Bonus: 10% of base
