What You'll Build

• End-to-end systems for issuing bank infrastructure demanding 99.999% uptime
• High-throughput, low-latency services processing sensitive financial data
• Scalable backend systems alongside our CTO and senior engineers
• Architecture and practices that will define our engineering culture as we scale

Our Tech Stack

• Frontend: Angular
• Backend: Swift (experience required or strong willingness to learn)
• Database: Postgres
• Deployment: Heroku
• Tooling: Modern AI coding tools (Cursor, Codeium) - big plus

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years professional software engineering (fintech/infrastructure/payments preferred)
• Strong backend systems experience with high-throughput, low-latency services
• Swift experience or motivation to learn quickly (non-negotiable)
• Large-scale data systems experience (event streaming, real-time analytics) - bonus
• Startup mindset - comfortable with ambiguity, fast-moving, outcome-focused
• Design/UX sensibility for implementation
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills
• Bonus points: Experience at Stripe, Adyen, Nubank, C6 Bank, or similar payment processors

• Base Salary: $33-40K/year
• Monthly Bonus: 8-14% of base (performance-based, paid weekly)
• Year-end Bonus: 10% of base
• Total Compensation: $40-50K/year
