As Chain’s Brand & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire Marketing and Brand function for Chain Social. Your core focus will be managing the agency’s digital presence and driving initiatives across multiple channels. You’ll play a key role in leading creative ideation, fostering strategic partnerships, and showcasing everything we offer. Your responsibilities will include email marketing & automation, social media management, content creation/production, website upkeep, and contributing towards event ideation and execution.
This role requires a strong proficiency in all aspects of social media marketing, as you’ll work across various in-house teams to ensure alignment with our overarching BHAG: to become Australia’s leading agency in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle.

- Maintain the master brand image for each vertical.
- Manage the relevant social account(s)/ platforms for each vertical.
- Lead scheduling, posting, reporting & community management.
- Optimising posting and scheduling for best performance.
- Create social media calendars and execute content plans across each platform.
- Collaborate with department heads, team leaders, team members and clients to create meaningful and engaging content.
- Copywriting.
- Post-production editing.
- Oversee email marketing and automation, including developing flows for all business functions and executing monthly ad-hoc email campaigns to support business goals.
- Briefing content (including but not limited to) the design team, UGC creators and other team members.
- Support overarching Marketing opportunities, branded collaborations and activations.
- Facilitate the Ideation and coordination of events to promote the agency.
- Attend activation events both in person and online with a focus on capturing carefully curated content.
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that will enhance the agency’s visibility and growth.
- Support Chain's Director of Growth across lead-generation strategy/pipeline.
- Manage and maintain the company website, ensuring it is consistently updated with fresh content.
- Keep up to date with direct competitors in the agency space and their offerings.
- Identify opportunities for growth and expansion across our agency offerings.
- Champion and find new ways to promote CGE subscriptions.
- Generate reports monthly, or as required by the Director.
_Team Duties

- Stay up to date with new features and trends. Share key platform learnings with team members to drive continuous improvement and development across the agency.
- Actively participate in WIPs and team meetings, reporting on agency accounts and success metrics.
- Provide ad-hoc support to the Director and other Senior team members as required.
- Be an ambassador of Chain Social Agency by living and breathing our company values.
- Assist with the onboarding of new team members.
- Accurately record time (time tracking) in MinuteDock daily.
Additional Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a digital marketing agency, or performing a similar role.
- A complete understanding of the digital landscape.
- Proven experience in digital marketing across Meta, Facebook, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, and Klaviyo.
- Proficient in Canva.
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage time, effectively setting priorities and organising tasks in an environment with competing demands.
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure nothing is overlooked.
- Excellent written communication skills including spelling, grammar and proofreading.
- Proactive and timely communication, particularly with key stakeholders.
- A thorough understanding of copywriting aligned with brand tone of voice.
- A finger on the pulse mentality, up to date with changing trends and dimensions of the digital landscape.
- Be able to conceptualise ideas and write clear briefs.
- Driving organic performance via Call to Action (CTA), ideal posting times and community management.
- Ability to work flexible hours at flexible locations as directed.
