Background

Cewas is a Swiss non-profit organization dedicated to supporting green entrepreneurial

ecosystems and green enterprises in their journey towards impactful growth. In Jordan, Cewas

works with tens of entrepreneurs and ecosystem partners to foster green growth through direct

acceleration of enterprises, ecosystem capacity development, and market development for

innovative solutions in water, energy, agriculture, and Solid waste management. Check out

Cewas is engaging in a new project where entrepreneurial networks are to be developed in Jordan; bringing together ecosystem partners from government, private sector, academia, research, and entrepreneurship support organizations to orchestrate the efforts dedicated to help entrepreneurs in the northern region (Mafraq and Jerash in specific).

Scope of Work

Cewas aims to develop high-quality visual materials for communication

with the objective of promoting project activities during Apr-July, 2025, and mostly for online

use including but not limited to:

- Logo design package

- Social Media post template design (partner profiles)

- 2-Page Network profile

- 1 or 2 Creative presentations using Prezi

- Roll-up/Backdrop design

- Other similar products

Accordingly, Cewas is looking for a short-term graphic design contractor to support the Cewas

team in the development of the communication material. The scope of this short-term contract

is limited to a maximum of 16 days of work over 4 months starting latest by Apr 13th, 2025.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Provide high-quality graphic design products in a timely manner as per the project

requirements

2. Handle constant communication with Cewas team members involved in the project

3. Review drafts, adapt, and reiterate existing designs and templates

4. Ensure all materials adhere to Cewas’ and Partners branding guidelines and design

standards

5. Deliver outputs in easy-to-use digital formats and ensure proper documentation of all

work throughout the work duration

6. The consultant may work remotely but should be available for meetings and

coordination as required by cewas’ Jordan office.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Arts, Communication, or any other

relevant field with proper practical experience.

• Experience & Skills:.

o Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in graphic design and design for

communication

o Proven experience as a graphic designer with a strong portfolio.

o Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.

o Experience in branding, layout design, and visual storytelling.

o Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

o Prior experience working with NGOs or sustainability-focused organizations is a plus

o Very good written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.

o Self-driven personality and ability to work independently with minimum

guidance.
