About the Role

What you'll Do

• Innovate with new AI/ML technologies to deliver customer value across the Certify platform and multiple product lines
• Analyze customer requirements and develop concepts for new applications.
• Coordinate with product management, software architects, engineers, and data science teams in determining overall system solutions

What you'll need

• 6+ years of relevant work experience with AI/ML technologies
• 4+ years as an ML engineer
• A strong track record of delivery of AI/ML products
• Demonstrable track record of delivering platform services to enable AI/ML products to operate at scale in production
• Experience in enterprise software development with some Big Data software development
• Predictive Analytics model implementation experience in production environments using ML/DL libraries like TensorFlow, H20, Pytorch, Sci-kit Learn.
• Experience with model serving technology in the cloud (ex. VertexAI)
• Experiences in designing, developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex data analytic pipelines and ML model applications using big data related technologies such as Spark or Hive
• Experience with a variety of GenAI models
• Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, etc. and their real-world advantages/drawbacks
• Experience fine tuning GenAI models in private deployments
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks, ideally Scrum, and tools like Jira and Confluence
• Ability to communicate in a team-oriented environment to clarify and refine requirements and deliver solutions within committed timelines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset
• Expertise with development in Java and Python
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Even better if you have two or more of the following:

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science, applied math, statistics or other relevant quantitative discipline, or equivalent industry experience
• Master's/Ph.D in Computer Science or relevant technology field.
• Experience in using NLP, OCR, GenAI, Entity Resolution, data capture/extraction
• Programming in Python and R using distributed frameworks like PySpark, Spark, SparkR
• Rigorous understanding of statistics and ability to discern appropriate statistical techniques to problem-solve
• Familiarity with virtualization/containerization, DevOps and CI/CD tools for automation of build, packaging, deployment, and testing
• Experience with Googles cloud services such as Cloud Run, App Engine and Big Query
• Experience with git tooling
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Good soft skills in working with other engineering and analytical teams to arrive at optimal solutions to technical challenges.
• High degree of initiative with a passion for learning technology.
