Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Software Engineer role located in Hyderabad, India at Central Data Storage. The Software Engineer will be responsible for back-end web development, software development, programming tasks to support data protection and business continuity solutions. They will also be responsible for driving the delivery of certain feature from start to end.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, senior developers to design and implement software features using Java or Flutter.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Own and drive feature or task delivery from planning, development, QA to release by working with different stakeholders
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation and user manuals.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software industry experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Java programming language and object-oriented design principles.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (Spring, Hibernate) is a plus.
• Knowledge of database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of system architecture or design is a plus
• Experience with version control systems (git)
• Experience with cloud technologies is a plus
• Experience in a client-server based architecture is a plus
• Experience in Flutter development is a plus.
• Experience with data protection and security protocols is a plus

Working Timings

• Irrespective of the fact that we have action oriented culture for engineering we expect engineers to have an overlap with our global team that work in CST time. We expect engineers to be able to overlap their work between 7pm to 12am IST as per the needs.
