Technical Marketing & Content Specialist – AI Practice Buildout (Contract)
Remote | 40 hours/week | 6-month contract
CDW is launching a cutting-edge AI Practice to help enterprise customers navigate the full spectrum of AI adoption—from strategy and planning to infrastructure deployment. To support this initiative, we’re seeking an experienced Technical Marketing & Content Specialist to develop foundational materials that will drive engagement with both clients and partners.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our AI architects and business leaders to create high-impact marketing collateral, Statements of Work (SOWs), RFP responses, and client-facing templates. You’ll play a pivotal role in positioning CDW’s AI capabilities and helping customers understand the transformative value of technologies like HPC, GPU/DPU-based architectures, low-latency networking, and multicloud deployments.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine marketing material (presentations, solution briefs, capability overviews) to support the launch and growth of CDW’s AI Practice
- Draft Statements of Work (SOWs) aligned with AI infrastructure, strategy consulting, and deployment services
- Create client- and partner-facing templates that streamline sales and engagement processes
- Assist with RFP responses, incorporating technical and strategic messaging that highlights CDW’s AI expertise
- Collaborate with AI architects to turn complex technical information into clear, compelling narratives
- Maintain consistent tone, branding, and messaging across all materials
- Contribute to internal enablement content to support GTM (go-to-market) readiness
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing, content development, or solution marketing—ideally supporting enterprise IT, cloud, or AI initiatives
- Experience developing SOWs, RFP content, and customer-facing documentation
- Excellent writing, editing, and content structuring skills
- Ability to collaborate with engineers, architects, and sales teams to translate complex ideas into business-aligned deliverables
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure topics such as HPC, AI/ML, networking, cloud, and storage
- Familiarity with partner ecosystems (e.g., NVIDIA, AWS, Microsoft, Dell) is a plus
- Customer- or partner-facing experience is strongly preferred
