Role: User Experience Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced UX Designer to join our team on a contract basis in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing user-centric intranet solutions, preferably with hands-on experience in SharePoint Online, supporting large global organizations. This role will focus on enhancing the user experience of our internal digital platforms, ensuring they are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with business goals.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience as a UX Designer, preferably in intranet and SharePoint Online environments.

· Familiarity with basic breakpoints, from mobile to tablet to desktop to ultrawide monitors.

· Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solutions for large-scale, global organizations.

· Proficiency with SharePoint Online, including understanding of its capabilities and limitations from a UX perspective.

· Experience with user research methodologies, usability testing, and data-driven design decisions.

· Skilled in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe software or similar)

· Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and best practices.

Preferred:

· Experience working in large, complex global organizations.

· Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem and SharePoint Online

· Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to better collaborate with developers.
