Job Title: Go-to-Market (GTM) Marketing Lead
We’re seeking a versatile and strategic Go-to-Market (GTM) marketer with a strong blend of storytelling, customer insight, data fluency, and business acumen. This role requires someone capable of leading initiatives across all phases of the product lifecycle—from concept to maturity—and driving measurable impact through thoughtful GTM strategies and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a cross-functional GTM leader: Partner with teams across product, sales, and marketing to develop and execute GTM strategies that drive adoption, engagement, and business impact.
- Champion the voice of the B2B customer: Build deep empathy for mid- to large-sized accounting firms and accountant sales teams, using a learning agenda to understand their behaviors, motivations, and pain points.
- Leverage insights to uncover opportunity: Use qualitative and quantitative customer research, competitive analysis, industry trends, and emerging technology to identify and activate market opportunities.
- Craft compelling narratives: Translate deep customer insights into clear positioning, value propositions, and messaging that resonate with target audiences.
- Data-driven strategy & execution: Develop hypotheses and partner cross-functionally with product marketing, channel marketing, sales, finance, analytics, and product teams to test and optimize solution-selling strategies.
- Lead launch & growth initiatives: Define and execute launch plans with a focus on integrated growth across QBO and QBOA platforms/services, including market sizing, goal setting, and stakeholder alignment.
- Drive end-to-end campaign execution: Develop and lead marketing campaigns from objective setting to measurement, analyzing ROI and delivering actionable insights.
- Influence across the organization: Share findings, make go-forward recommendations, and ensure cross-functional alignment through strong communication and collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) solutions and/or expense management is a strong plus.
- Background as an accountant or experience working with accountants is highly desirable.
- 7+ years of professional marketing experience, with a strong focus on GTM strategy and execution.
- Proven ability to translate customer insights and business objectives into impactful marketing strategies.
- Demonstrated success in leading and influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and visual—with the ability to present to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong ownership mindset with a results-oriented approach and a track record of delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Solid analytical thinking with a data-informed approach to decision-making.
