We’ve just relaunched our brand and digital presence — and the response in market has been extraordinary. Now we’re building the systems to match that momentum — and CRM is one of the most critical levers we need to get right.
That’s where you come in.
We’re looking for a sharp, driven CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Manager to architect and deliver an end-to-end CRM program that will drive growth, deepen relationships, and elevate the customer experience across both our D2C and B2B channels.
This is a rare opportunity to lead a business-critical project — with full ownership from strategy through to hands-on execution. You’ll be building Castella’s CRM capability from the ground up: designing intelligent journeys, building scalable systems, and creating the engine that will power our next chapter of growth.
You’ll be working fully remotely from anywhere in Australia — collaborating with a passionate, design-driven team, and helping shape how one of Australia’s leading design brands connects with its customers.
About this role
- You’ll build it all — from strategy and segmentation to journeys, copy, automations, and reporting
- You’ll get full ownership — no layers of red tape, no patchwork legacy systems. Just a clean slate and support to make it great
- You’ll work across two very different audiences — design-savvy Trade clients (architects, designers, specifiers) and premium Consumers — giving you real variety and challenge
- You’ll shape how the brand is experienced — through every email, every journey, every touchpoint
- You’ll join at a pivotal moment — right after a full rebrand and relaunch, when things are moving fast and impact is tangible
The work you'll leadStrategy & Architecture
- Design and implement a scalable CRM strategy across both B2B and B2C channels
- Build lifecycle journeys from scratch: onboarding, nurture, loyalty, winback, and more
- Define segmentation, lead scoring, and customer data structure — with long-term scale in mind
- Set up the CRM ecosystem using Zoho CRM (with Shopify and other integrations)
Execution & Optimisation
- Write and build high-performing email journeys that feel brand-aligned and premium
- Implement lead scoring logic that aligns with lifecycle stage and engagement
- Apply a UX lens to ensure every touchpoint feels as good as it performs
- Run testing and optimisation (A/B, multivariate) to continuously improve outcomes
- Build clear reporting frameworks to track performance and surface insights
Systems & Enablement
- Build internal documentation to support long-term management
- Collaborate with Sales and Account Management to support their workflows and customer intel
- Equip the broader team with smarter tools to convert, nurture, and retain customers
We’re looking for someone who…
- Has built CRM programs from scratch — ideally across both B2B and DTC
- Thinks commercially and strategically — but can also execute with precision
- Writes clearly and beautifully — and knows how to make things feel as good as they work
- Understands the nuance of lifecycle marketing — not just blasting emails or setting up flows
- Can work independently and move fast without daily hand-holding (our Head of Marketing is going on mat leave during your contract)
- Is excited by systems, data, automation, and experience design — not just content calendars
- Wants to leave something better than they found it — and can prove the value they added

- 🏡 Fully remote (Australia only — no overseas applicants please) or work from our Hobart, Tasmania head office
- 📅 6-month contract (with potential to extend if it’s a great fit)
- ✨ You’ll report to the Head of Marketing (before she goes on maternity leave) and collaborate across Sales, CX, and Product
