This position is responsible for consulting, developing, implementing and optimizing digital touch points essential in executing on our customer experience strategy. This role will make business objectives and strategies a reality by developing and delivering the technology solutions through Marketing Cloud, Salesforce or other digital platforms. This role will strategically analyze and drive high-quality digital metrics while recommending and implementing strategies to increase customer engagement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the specialist for executing digital touchpoints/audiences and marketing automation (Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Perform day-to-day activities including, but not limited to email/mobile development/ deployment, customer journey design and implementation, email & data automation workflow, basic operational reporting, email campaign optimization etc.
- Proactively advise Marketing and other cross-functional partners of best practices with regards to marketing automation, increasing digital engagement, platform capabilities and testing methodology.
- Manage and manipulate data to obtain appropriate digital audience creation for emails
- Identify and understand actionable metrics for digital engagement marketing activities; work with manager to analyze and make recommendations on data.
- Demonstrate flexibility, versatility and an ability to shepherd multiple concurrent priorities to completion, seeking minimal guidance.
- Solves and responds to complex problems efficiently; takes a new perspective using existing solutions and approaches changes with flexibility.
- May lead, plan, coordinate, or align cross functional partners on small or medium projects, campaigns, or initiatives.
- May develop training and process documentation for team and the broader Business.
- Guides, teaches, and mentors other team members in the work and data infrastructure.
- Using SQL writing queries to combine or filter data for segmentation, using DESelect or Marketing Cloud tools (this was missing from rebrand rewrite)
Position Specific:
- Build and execute complex emails with AMPscript & dynamic content passing variables to cloud pages
- Develop and manage complex journeys and triggered emails
- Create and update Marketing Cloud landing pages & email templates
- Create and update Sitecore web pages or make edits to existing pages and components
- Enforce digital governance and contact strategy processes.
- Develops new process recommendations and delivers training and process documentation
- Execute marketing automation (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) programs and processes from start to finish including design, building, QA, deployment and monitoring of emails, landing pages, simple journeys and prebuilt automations.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of email marketing, digital engagement and/or business strategy; with experience in marketing automation or Salesforce Sales/Service Clouds
- Demonstrated experience with developing digital engagement techniques, tools and measurements
- Demonstrated success in project management; including technical and creative projects
- Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a project oriented, diverse team environment
- Salesforce Sales and Marketing Cloud or other marketing automation platform experience required. Preferred: Journey builder, automation studio, cloud pages, Salesforce Sales or Service Cloud
- Preferred: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant certification
Position Specific:
- Expert knowledge in email HTML, CSS, AMPscript, and JavaScript to create responsive and dynamic emails
- Preferred: Knowledge of Bootstrap or Sitecore
- SQL, AMPscript, Database structure with Sitecore, Google Analytics a plus
