Job Summary
Product Marketing Specialist III is responsible to coordinate the Product Marketing and Communications work including the development, implementation and management of product strategy and content for member, pre-member, and/or provider materials and collateral.
Essential Functions
- Oversee and execute tasks to develop, implement and maintain the marketing and communication strategy of CareSource Products, driving consistency and accuracy, and curating, capturing and writing content that reinforces the company’s brand position
- Track individual product marketing performance, by benefit design, market segment, sub-region and/or geography, as applicable, and recommends modifications/enhancements
- Execute the activities required to support the development of short and long-term strategic product design plans for Product, Market, Sales, and overall growth and profitability objectives
- Support and maintain Benefit Interpretation support, including applicable grids, spreadsheets, manuals, guides, and/or other technology-based applications
- Support required Product Management Regulatory Distribution Management (RDM) legislative & regulatory reviews and regulatory/compliance requirements are met
- Lead required Product material reviews for Product and Benefit design elements, as required/assigned
- Support team meetings to establish and execute on detailed tasks
- Lead initiatives and have familiarity with, and demonstrated understanding of CareSource’s Non-Medicaid Products (i.e. Marketplace, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, D-SNP, MyCare, Veteran’s Advantage, as assigned)
- Lead and manage the assigned Product Marketing initiatives through their lifecycle
- Support, and execute to the established budgets, timelines (milestones) and task schedules
- Ensure a unified content calendar is effectively created, maintained, and followed and is relevant to key programs and initiatives
- Execute assigned tasks to collaborate with senior leadership to ensure initiatives are properly funded, resourced, and managed, as assigned
- Facilitate gathering of customer data insights and leverage data to evaluate content strategy and management
- Provide clarification/verification for all levels regarding status/details
- Incorporate effective change and risk management controls
- Provide communication expertise and serve as communications and marketing lead on internal work groups/committees to support organizational initiatives and efforts
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Business or health care field, or other related field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
- Master’s degree preferred
- A minimum of five (5) year’s experience in a marketing role
- Experience writing Healthcare insurance industry related content experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity of the healthcare/managed care field and knowledge of government program products is required
- Previous experience working with state and Federal regulators/government in a managed care setting is preferred
- Experience in content implementation across multiple platforms and mediums/channels is required

Compensation Range
$92,300.00 - $161,600.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
