Role Overview

As Founding CTO, you’ll be responsible for defining and executing CareerTWiN’s technical vision. You’ll work directly with the founder to transform ideas into products, make long-term architectural decisions, and build the engineering foundation that can scale from an early-stage startup to a global platform.

This role requires someone who enjoys solving difficult problems, thrives in ambiguity, and wants to build something meaningful from the ground up.

What You’ll Own

• Technical vision and long-term engineering strategy

• Product architecture and system design

• Full-stack application development

• AI architecture, LLM integrations, and intelligent workflows

• Backend services, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and security

• Product scalability, reliability, and performance

• Engineering processes, development standards, and technical culture

• Hiring, mentoring, and leading the engineering team as the company grows

• Technical due diligence for investors and fundraising

• Driving execution from current stage to next at startup speed

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is as excited about building a company as they are about building software.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Strong experience building production-grade software products

• Deep understanding of software architecture and scalable systems

• Experience across modern backend and frontend technologies

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems

• Hands-on experience building or integrating AI-powered applications

• Strong product thinking and attention to user experience

• Ability to make technical decisions with incomplete information

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• A bias toward action and rapid execution

• The ambition to build a venture-scale company

Startup experience or previous founding experience is a strong plus.
