About the Job:

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer – Infrastructure to join an innovative AI-driven technology company. If you're passionate about building highly reliable cloud infrastructure, driving platform stability, and working with modern DevOps practices, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact while collaborating with a global engineering team.

Location: Remote (US-Based)

Compensation: USD 160,000-200,000 per annum (Including Bonus)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable GCP infrastructure.
• Manage Kubernetes (GKE), Docker, and Terraform-based infrastructure.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines for safe and efficient software delivery.
• Build and improve observability using metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting.
• Drive reliability initiatives through SLOs, incident management, and automation.
• Implement infrastructure security best practices, IAM, secrets management, and compliance-ready processes.
• Collaborate closely with product, backend, and data engineering teams to ensure platform reliability.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure, Platform, or DevOps Engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), Helm, and Terraform.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Jenkins.
• Experience with observability platforms like New Relic or similar.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and/or Bash.
• Experience participating in production on-call rotations.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is required.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with Dagster, Airflow, or similar orchestration platforms.
• Exposure to modern data platforms and batch processing infrastructure.
• Knowledge of SOC 2, FERPA, COPPA, or similar compliance frameworks.
• Experience working in distributed global engineering teams.
