What we’re looking for
As Product Marketing Manager you will report to the Director of Marketing while partnering closely with the Director of Product to seamlessly integrate marketing strategy with product initiatives, driving cross-functional alignment and success. In this role, you will help CareerArc grow its market share in the HR Tech industry by overseeing product positioning, enablement, and product-led marketing strategies. The PMM role is dynamic and requires a deep understanding of CareerArc’s products, target audience, competitors, and relevant market trends.
Essential functions
Driving our product-led marketing strategy in close collaboration with our Director of Marketing
- Update and maintain differentiated product messaging + positioning that resonates with key buyer personas
- Collaborate with our content writer to align top-of-funnel content with our solution (blogs, landing pages, ebooks, etc.)
- Drive customer advocacy programs and testimonial content, including working with the customer success team to solicit and secure testimonials
- Work closely with the demand gen team and design agency to support demand-generation efforts with product-focused campaign messaging, assets, and content
- Enhance our brand and product presence at events and tradeshows in close partnership with our events marketing director and sales team
Become our product expert working closely with the Director of Product
- Attend weekly product syncs to gain a deep understanding of the product
- Become the internal product champion assisting with product documentation and translating product releases and roadmap for internal communications
- Develop email/in-app guidance and messaging to enhance product adoption and engagement
- Assist product + engineering to understand product usage data, email effectiveness, and NPS score to help prioritize product updates
Own go-to-market alignment + enablement
- Lead the go-to-market launch process for new feature and product releases, ensuring alignment with key cross-functional stakeholders.
- Drive sales enablement sessions and equip teams with collateral, including demo decks, demo scripts, and product collateral.
- Support customer success teams with collateral, including customer-facing quarterly roadmaps, release notes, and product collateral.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Deep understanding of product language and ability to translate to the larger team
- Ability to translate technical features into customer benefits
- Works well in a collaborative, cross-functional capacity
- Comfortable with presenting internally and externally
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-5 years in a product marketing role at a B2B SaaS company—HR Tech a plus
- Experience operating as a key player within a small, tight-knit team
- Experience managing cross-functional projects in high-growth environments
