As a Marketing Manager, you’ll lead end-to-end marketing efforts for each startup fundraising campaign, working closely with CEOs and Capital Department deal teams. You’ll own fundraising messaging, asset creation, and execution – bringing together sharp copy, clean visuals, and strategic marketing to drive investment volume.
Just as public companies raise money online from retail investors, you’ll help private companies do the same, crafting compelling digital experiences that convert.
This role is ideal for an accomplished marketing leader and experienced copywriter with a track record of:
- Writing compelling business copy for professional audiences, across email marketing; and
- Driving demand generation via email and landing pages using data, A/B testing, and technology.

What will you do?
Own the end-to-end marketing execution of startup fundraising campaigns to build high-converting investor funnels in partnership with founders and Capital Department deal teams:
- Lead marketing for startups raising capital alongside startup CEOs and Capital Department colleagues
- Develop fundraising narratives that sell prospective investors on investment opportunities
- Write persuasive copy
- Create fundraising assets including investor decks, digital fundraising pages, emails, press releases, pitch scripts, video scripts, and investor updates
- Design graphics for social media posts, blog posts, and events
- Schedule and configure email campaigns in Klaviyo (and sometimes Mailchimp)
- Develop and own a multi-channel marketing funnel targeting individual and institutional investors
- Manage and update marketing calendar as per collaborative discussions with customers and the Capital Department deal teams
- Liaise with customers on assets and copy, delivery, approval, and deployment
- Forge and manage strategic partner relationships
- Develop internal systems and tools to optimize department efficiency and fundraising activity efficacy
- Expand on existing strategies by bringing forward fresh ideas, new channels, and creative approaches
- Manage marketing performance tracking, analysis, and reporting
What are we looking for?:
- 5-7+ years of experience writing multi-touchpoint marketing assets for a business audience
- Advanced degrees, especially an MBA or other related degree, preferred!
- Storytelling and experience writing investor communications is a plus
- Strong writing skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas with persuasive simplicity.
- Proven track record of leading high-converting marketing campaigns
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiar with design principles and producing graphics assets like social posts and presentation slides
- Highly motivated, resourceful individual
- Capable of working in fast-paced, unstructured environments and delivering innovative solutions
- Highly responsive to Slack and emails, promptly replying to all communications and requests
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a team-player with a can-do attitude
- Strong record of professional, academic, or personal achievement
- Proficiency in Google Workspace including Docs, Sheets, and Slides, Asana, Zoom, Figma, Slack, CRM tools (Pipedrive preferred), and email service providers (Klaviyo preferred)

Total Compensation: $80k-$90k
