Capgemini Engineering is looking for a Back-end Software Engineer (Golang) to join our dynamic team working on a high-visibility project for a global leader in the retail and hospitality industry. What You’ll Do

Collaborate on requirements analysis, task planning, and code development.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Golang.
Evaluate technical options and propose innovative solutions.
Interact with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable software.
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

What We’re Looking For

4+ years of software development experience.
1.5+ years of hands-on experience with Golang and API development.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and SQL (Postgres preferred).
Familiarity with TCP/IP, HTTP fundamentals, and unit testing.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
Agile mindset with excellent communication skills in English.

Nice To Have

Experience with gRPC, Protobuf, OpenAPI
Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, etc.).
Kubernetes or container orchestration experience.
